The Administrative Staff of Perna Dental

	Colleen Babicek, Patient Coordinator Colleen lives in the Vestal area with her husband.  They are blessed with three children, their spouses, and nine grandchildren.    In the past, she loved her job working as a Licensed Practical Nurse for twenty plus years (always in Geriatrics).  When it became necessary to make a career change, Colleen wanted her next job to include serving and working with patients; just as she had done for so many years.    After attending Ridley Lowell Business and Technical Institute, she received her degree as a Medical Administrative Assistant.  Working as a nurse and the education she received at Ridley Lowell, has been the perfect combination to do her job at Perna Dental.    Colleen enjoys spending time with her family, reading, baking, gardening, and Christian music.  She considers herself truly blessed!
	Marjorie Olmstead, Bookkeeper Marj joined the Perna Dental practice as a part-time employee in 1995.  She is responsible for bookkeeping that includes accounts payable and other practice finances.  Her office is on the second floor of 55 Oak Street. In 1991, Marj was hired by Doctor Alfonso Perna to assist him with the Sixth District Dental Society office that had just moved its headquarters to Binghamton.  Marj retired as Executive Secretary in 1998. She and her husband are very proud of their two children, two children-in-law, and their five grandchildren.  They enjoy cross-country traveling when possible.  Marj's other interests include reading, crossword puzzles, eating out, and playing with the grandkids. Marj has been actively involved in our community.  Some of her projects include developing the library media center at Thomas Jefferson elementary school, volunteering as a reading tutor in the Binghamton School system, serving as a Trustee on the Broome County Public Library Board, serving on the Broome Library Foundation Board, and serving on many committees at her church.
