Dr. Michael C. Perna "Dr. Mike", as his patients know him, is a Binghamton native and a third generation dentist. He follows his father, Dr. Alfonso J. Perna who has followed his father, Dr. Alfonso A. Perna in caring for the dental needs of this community. After completing his Bachelor of Arts Degree in biology at SUNY Oswego, he received his dental degree from SUNY Buffalo School of Dental Medicine in 1993. He continued his career at SUNY Health Science Center in Syracuse, completing a year residency with advanced training in all aspects of dentistry. He returned to Binghamton and today practices family dentistry for adults and children, including cosmetic and advanced restorative dentistry, as well as implant placement and restoration. In addition to his commitment to providing quality dental health care to all of his patients, Dr Mike is an active member of the American Dental Association, the New York State Dental Association and the Broome County Dental Society. He is currently the chairman of the Peer Review and Quality Assurance committee of the 6th District Dental Association and secretary of the Broome County Dental Society. Dr. Mike is married to his wonderful wife, Casey, and they have three beautiful children. |
