Michele Farthing, CDA - Office Manager/Certified Dental Assitant

Education: I graduated from Binghamton High School, attended Broome Community College. I am a DANB licensed and CDAMP certified Dental Assistant.

I have over 26 years as a Dental Assistant. 20 of those years are with the Perna Dental Team. I have been the Office Manager for over 11 years.

As the Office Manager I oversee all patient care, staff, and office policies. I enjoy my staff and patients.

I live in Johnson City with my 2 children. I stay busy with all their sports and activities. I also enjoy being at our summer cottage and traveling.

Heather Lutynski Shedd - Dental Assistant

Education: I graduated from Chenango Valley High School in 2007. Attended Broome community College from 2007-2009. Criminal Justice/Paralegal. Attended Elmira Business Institute from 2009 to 2011 where I got my Medical Assistant degree. I've been a Dental Assistant for over 12 years.

I have 5 children and 2 step children, a fiancé and a dog named Ragna. I love spending time with my family and I enjoy the outdoors.

Marissa Parr - Dental Assistant

Education: I graduated from Binghamton High School and attended SUNY Broome. I have been a dental assistant since 2015. I have recently joined Perna Dental in September 2020.

I spend my free time traveling and making memories with my son, family and close friends.

Jennifer Hamar, RDH - Registered Dental Hygienist

Education: I grew up in Kirkwood and attended Windsor High School. In 2003, I graduated from SUNY Binghamton with a Bachelor's degree in Psychology. I then went to SUNY Broome, where I studied Dental Hygiene. I have been a Dental Hygienist for over 10 years.

I now live in Binghamton and have a 14 year old daughter. In my spare time, I enjoy working out and spending as much time as I can outdoors.

Laurie Washburn, RDH - Registered Dental Hygienist

Education: I graduated with distinction from Broome Community College Dental Hygiene program in 1981.

Worked six years for a periodontist, then Dr. Anthony Franzonello for 30 years. I just recently joined Perna Dental in summer of 2020. I enjoy being a Dental hygienist, love my personal interactions and building long lasting relationships with all my patients. I enjoy spending time with my family and friends.

Erin Snyder - Patient Care Coordinator

Education: I graduated from Windsor High School and attended SUNY Cortland.
I have been in the dental field for over 24 years. I started with my grandfather who was a local dentist. I worked with Dr. Anthony Franzonello for over 20 years and now with Perna Dental as we just joined practices.

I live in Binghamton with my 2 beautiful children. When I am not at work, you can find me on the lake with friends and family or off on an adventure.

Brittany Finkle - Patient Care Coordinator

Education: I grew up and graduated from Windsor High School. I then furthered my education at SUNY Broome and SUNY Geneseo, where I was a member of the basketball team for both schools.

I now live in Windsor with my family. I have a toddler that keeps me very busy! I enjoy being outdoors, traveling, going to the beach, and spending time with friends and family.

Lindsay Heath - Patient Care Coordinator

Education: I graduated from Chenango Forks High School in 2009. I have been in the dental field as a Patient Care Coordinator for over 4 years.I joined the Perna Dental team in November of 2021. I enjoy helping patients and working with my teammates.

In my free time I enjoy spending time with my 3 children and fiancé’. We like outside activities such as camping, fishing, going to the lake and cooking out. I am also and active reader and love to cook.

Melissa Bronson - Bookkeeper

I have been in the accounting field for over 30 years and with Perna Dental for 4 years.

I live in the town of Conklin with my husband of 20 years and our two sons. I keep busy attending all sporting and musical activities they are involved in. In my spare time I enjoy camping, reading and walking, but most of all, spending with my family.

Michelle Cornell, RDH - Registered Dental Hygienist

Vestal senior Highschool class of 89’. AAS travel and Tourism 1992 BCC. AAS Dental Hygiene 2001 BCC. Practicing RDH for over 21 years full-time.

I live in Vestal. I love my patients , coworkers, helping people better their health with proper oral hygiene habits. Making my patients feel comfortable & special. BRIGHTER SMILES. I spend time with family & friends, travel, nature, hiking & walking. I practice Reiki & Sound Healing. I enjoy live music, musicals, reading and meditation, praying & fine dining.

Katie Fenton, RDH - Registered Dental Hygienist

Graduate of SUNY Broome- 2003. Oral facial Myofunctional Therapist. Certified Breast Feeding Specialist & Maternal Support Practitioner. Originally form Western NY & have lived in the Southern Tier area over 20 years.

I love being part of an amazing team and building lasting relationships with patients. I coach basketball & softball for my kids. Volunteer at my kids school. Love to play golf, softball, travel, hiking and Skiing.
